Union County Historical Survey
After 8 long months of survey work, Union County’s historic homes and buildings have finally been documented in a report published by the Palmetto Conservation Foundation. Starting in the spring of 2005, the survey documented more than 1200 historic properties. The report includes a brief history of Union County; discussions of the styles of architecture found within the county; a list of all surveyed properties, their construction dates and addresses; and a list of properties determined to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
